My Travel Story

Hi I’m Harry and I have just turned 17. I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to go on a challenging and rewarding journey to Nakuru, Kenya with African Adventures as a volunteer.  
The purpose of the trip is to create a positive change in the quality of the learning environments of those children sadly living in deprived areas. I will be helping to build and improve schools there by renovating classrooms, kitchens and toilet blocks. Also by engaging with the children daily through sport and games sessions. I am most looking forward to the chance to assist in their education while I am there .
The challenge begins now. I need to raise  a total of £1850 for my place on the trip that will help me be able to change lives, including mine, forever. I’m also doing activities such as cake sales, car boot sales and bag packing with others in my group to help raise this money.
This trip is going to be a fantastic opportunity for me and my group to develop new skills while helping others . If you are in a position to help me I will be so very grateful . Harry
