My Travel Story

Hello my name is Shakira Boone,

I would love to volunteer and get the experience from this trip to South Africa because I am passionate about helping animals and giving my all to something or someone in need. My personal values are elegance, passion, and family and with those I have a drive that keeps me motivated to do anything I can to protect the elegance of my passions which is helping animals, dance, and helping give people things that I don’t have. My family taught me to always be kind and I believe that is where my passion comes from.

I really love animals and I care for them with a passion. Going on a trip for volunteering that involves being able to help different animals will give me more experience and more wisdom and knowledge for future references. It would also expose me to something anyone would dream to experience and it will help me be able to go out and empower others and inform others of the many things humans do on a regular can harm these precious animals.

I am in High School but in the year of 2022 I will be graduating with my high school diploma, not only that but with an Associates Degree as well. After that I will go to North Carolina State University to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in the study of Animal behavior. I will need many different sciences in order for me to get into a Veterinary Medical Program. With trying to attend the South African Impact team in Wild life Conservation, I believe that it would be outstanding to be able to get out and see the beauty of these endangered animals and help in any way possible that I can. This could also be a good start to see what it will be like over the course of my career path I will be taking to become a Veterinarian.
