College is a real deal!
My Travel Story
Everyday, I listen to my parents hearing about all the financial difficulties of living here in California. Expensive housing, credit card bills, low pay.. and such on. When I mention college towards my family. I see all the exhaustion, and stress in their face. Mentioning college all their minds are set into another payment coming up. It upsets me. I do not intend to make my parents have another difficulty over money. I wanted another way to get my education to be done, so afterwards I would be able to help out and pay for my parents financial issues.
As a student, I currently work at a hair salon in the reception, my salary goes right towards my family. I do not even have a single dollar inside my wallet. Because all I wanted to do is support my family. I want them to be proud of me.
Recently, I called this school in Cebu called Southwestern University, where they provide a great education for medical programs. The tuition is well affordable in a complete 4 years of school.
Why I chose Philippines over US schools. It always comes with affordability, and a good education to all students. Philippine school wants to be more committed and dedicate themselves into their education so they will gain a great awareness in their future careers. As all of my relatives graduated in the Philippines, they are one of my inspiration even though they have the issues to pay for their college, they tried their best to study til daylight so they will have a better future. Now as they already graduated, my cousin who is now a Nurse came to the United States and she is promoted to become the head nurse at a hospital.
