My Travel Story

Hello family and friends,

I am blessed to have been chosen for the CGIS Study Abroad Program at the University of Michigan. I will spend 6 weeks in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I will be taking two courses, (to fulfill my 2nd major in Spanish) Spanish 231 and Spanish 232. This is an 8 credit course. I am hoping to gain a valuable experience while fulfilling my ultimage goal of using my fluency in Spanish to service underrepresented populations in the medical field. The total cost for this trip is quite costly and I am asking for your help to assist with my class tuition. The total cost for class tuition (8 credits) is around $4,200.00. I have applied for financial aid and was unfortunately denied. Therefore, I am seeking out fundraisng efforts to avoid taking out a student loan.
