Ladies and gentlemen,

Today, I stand before you with a heavy heart, for we are witnesses to the plight of our brothers and sisters in Sri Lanka. The economic situation has taken a toll on many, leaving families struggling to make ends meet, and the most vulnerable, our children, facing hardships beyond comprehension.

In the face of such adversity, it is our moral obligation to extend a helping hand to those in need. We cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering of our fellow human beings. Every child deserves a chance at a better future, regardless of the circumstances they were born into.
