Hi, I’m Laura Enfield, an Electrical Engineering undergraduate and founder of SpooksLab—a startup focused on creative technology and media automation.

I’ve been accepted for a competitive engineering internship in Kyoto, Japan. This isn’t just an opportunity for me—it’s for my kids as well. As a parent, I want to show my children the value of pursuing dreams, learning globally, and building something meaningful from the ground up.

By participating in this internship, I’ll gain hands-on experience and new skills that will help me grow as a technologist and founder. I’ll be able to provide a better future for my family, inspire my kids to reach for their own goals, and bring back knowledge that benefits my startup and community.

Why Kyoto?
Kyoto is a global hub for technology and culture. My internship will connect me with leading engineers, expose me to new ideas, and help me build SpooksLab into a company that bridges creativity and technology worldwide.

How Your Support Helps:

Travel expenses (flight, local transport)
Housing and daily living costs
Internship program fees
Professional development and networking
Every donation, no matter the size, brings me and my kids closer to this life-changing experience. If you can’t donate, sharing my campaign is just as valuable!

I’ll be posting updates throughout my journey, sharing what I learn and how your support makes a difference for me and my family.

Thank you for believing in students, parents, and future founders.
