Nathaniel is only 7 yrs. old and is suffering from chronic kidney disease, severe hydronephrosis (swelling of the central portion of the kidney that has left only 40% of his left kidney able to function), and abnormalities with his urethral valves and bladder.Nathaniel's illness was identified by doctors in califonia, while his mother was pregnant. Since infancy,Nathaniel  has endured complicated urinary tract infections and the swelling of his kidneys has aggressively progressed. At ages 4 months, 2 years and 6 years old,Nathaniel  and his family have traveled from united states to Dubai three times during which Nathaniel has undergone two surgeries and several examinations.Nathaniel doctors in Dubai advised Nathaniel and his family that the U.S. and UK are the only countries that could perform effective operations to save Nathaniel .  

Nathaniel has now sought the opinion of an expert pediatric urologist at Boston Children's Hospital.Nathaniel will need to undergo a urodynamic study of his bladder, which will enable doctors to determine Nathaniel's treatment plan, which could potentially include another surgery. Nathaniel's family has exhausted all of their savings during the past seven years and need $20,000 to cover the expense of receiving the urodynamic study and associated testing and hospital care. Every day that passes without solidifying a course of action for Nathaniel, he risks additional kidney swelling, which could cause permanent damage.
