My Travel Story

Hello everyone.  My family and I would like to travel to America when this academic school year ends in June.  My parents had to take a loan over 4,000 dollars when we paid for plane tickets last year and then because of COVID-19 our flight were cancelled.  Now, one year later our flights are 1700 each and last year we only paid 1300.  We also will either have to pay for COVID-19 tests or vaccines which will cost us an additional 300 to 600 dollars depending if we have to take them twice before even getting to my parents!  It just seems really overwhelming but at the same time we would really love to visit this year regardless since we missed last year.  

Our family has been working at a Christian International School in Kampala, Uganda for the last eight years.  I am a Kindergarten teacher and my husband has been the high school principal the last 3 years here and before that he was the high school Humanities  and English teacher.  

We have fully committed our lives here to equip the  students at our school to achieve their God-given potential.  We have the opportunity to share the gospel and make disciples to students that come from all around the world. 

Please pray for us as we end the school year and finish up our travel plans.
