My Travel Story
This April I’ll be travelling to Arusha, Tanzania to volunteer with IVHQ’s Medical Program. I’m raising funds to support this placement and, with your help, I hope to make a meaningful difference for communities with limited access to medical care.
Many people in Arusha face barriers to basic healthcare, and clinics are often understaffed and under-resourced. During my placement, I’ll be working alongside local healthcare teams in outpatient and inpatient care, wound management, maternal and child health, HIV and chronic illness clinics, as well as participating in community outreach visits to nearby villages where medical support is rarely accessible.
This fundraiser will go directly towards covering the program fee. Any contribution big or small helps support the work being done in these communities and improves access to essential healthcare.
