My Travel Story

Dear reader,
I am planning a gap year trip specifically designed for growth, learning, and self-discovery.

I will begin my journey in Sweden in July 2023, where I will spend 10 months in a youth program to discover more about myself through the philosophy methods of Rudolf Steiner. Having learned more about what I want to contribute in this world and how I will go about it, I will then embark on the more spontaneous and less day-to-day planned leg of my journey. 

This will encompass several European countries such as Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Greece, and Iceland, where I will explore cultures, record my experiences through photography, and help other people along the way. A few countries such as New Zealand, my home country Australia and Indonesia will also come in the latter half.

I want to learn how other cultures and people experience life and find a way I can help improve those that have not been dealt the good cards.

Through this journey, I want to learn about my inner self, other people, and other places. I want to help others and see what the world has to offer and record it to share with those who do not have the same opportunity.

To travel through the world has been my dream ever since I first heard of the term 'Gap Year', and I wanted to speak Italian since I was 5. I want to experience the freedom and spontaneity that travel allows for, and help solve problems when my journey comes to a close.
