I’ve always dreamed of being a local tourist in my own country, Belize. Growing up here, I’ve heard countless stories about its breathtaking beaches, lush jungles, ancient Maya sites, and colorful culture, yet I’ve never truly had the chance to soak in the beauty for myself. There’s so much to explore—hidden waterfalls, vibrant markets, the world’s second-largest barrier reef—but I’ve only admired them from afar. One day, I hope to experience Belize not just as home, but as the adventure it really is.
