I’m not LION, this South African internship will bring Rebecca rELEPHANT experience for veterinarian school!
My lifelong career goal has been to be a veterinarian. In recent times, I have become interested in wild animals and conservation work. My love for these threatened animals has brought me to this experience. I will be working on two different projects for two weeks each. One project is at a sanctuary that cares for rhinos and works to rehabilitate them. The second is a veterinary experience that will allow me to join a wildlife vet and help with day-to-day activities. These two projects will give me important hands-on experience plus shadowing hours crucial to my application to veterinary school. I appreciate the opportunity to assist this organization in their work to help care for and sustain Africa’s endangered wildlife.
