Hannah x2 take on South Africa!
My Travel Story
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Hannah. I am 22 years old and have lived in Aberdeen my whole life.
2 years ago, I plucked up the courage to apply for Camp America and since then I have developed travel fever! I have been looking for a new adventure to embark upon so when my friend Hannah B asked me to come with her to South Africa I didn't have to think twice.
We are heading over on the 2nd of June to volunteer at an animal sanctuary, deep in the very wild and beautiful African bush. Our aim whilst over there is to help better the lives of these once wild animals including; lions, tigers, elephants, zebras etc.
I vistited the SSPCA a few months ago and it broke my heart to see how many animals had been mistreated and neglected. I feel that this experience will provide me with the chance to give animals the love and support they give us so unconditionally.
Seeing as I am volunteering I have decided to try and fundraise as much money as I can. I will be taking part in a swimathon and hosting a big BBQ in summer however there will be more information posted once I have the plans finalised.
