My Travel Story

Welcome to my fundraiser to help me raise money to take my kiddos on a well needed vacation! My name is Emily and I'm a single mother of 3 crazy and awesome kids m. Leon is the man of the house at just 11 years old. He is the amazing big brother of the crazy and daring 4 year old twins, Anastasia and Amethyst. We ask you to please help us honor a vacation so we can make some memories together as a family and get out to explore our beautiful world together. I had planned on this vacation nearly 3 years ago and unfortunately it had fallen through and we were unable to go. My kids were pretty upset because I got them pretty hyped up about it and had to break their little hearts. I've tried to make it happen and I just can't. I want just one family vacation before Leon is out of the house and the way things look now I can't see that happening.. growing up my parents had taken us on many vacations creating bonds with each other and memories that I can't thank them enough for and I had wanted to do the same for my kids. I lost my job when their father had told me he would take care of us if I left and instead he took the kids and left me then he ended up in prison soon after. He had signed the kids to his mom with a power of attorney saying abandoned then causing quite a mess for me and having a lot of lost time and memories. I had recently gotten my kids back finally and they are settled home with me. Now I would like to take them on that vacation I promised them and to show them I'm not going to let them down again. So you see it is extremely important to me to be able to take this trip and I feel it would benefit the bonds and trust I have with my children and god knows their little souls can use some healing. My goal is to be able to take a road trip from our home town in Oregon and drive to Los Angeles California. I wanted to take them to see the coast along the way as the twins haven't been to the beach. I also wanted to take them to Carlsbad as I read they have a lot of history and ghost towns which me and my son both enjoy. We would possibly stop at Disney land or Lego land as well and maybe an aquarium. Really I would be fine with emthebroad trip itself and sightseeing. We would appreciate your support and generosity.
