Hola a todos, mi nombre es Samuel Alejandro Urbina Blanco.


Como verán, fui aceptado por el Foro de Biodiversidad Mundial 2022 para ofrecer una presentación oral con póster científico. Mi ponencia se titula "Afroindianidad y justicia ambiental: hacia una ecosofía política" y trata sobre el papel de los pueblos afroindígenas en la luchas por la defensa de la Pachamama, contra la crisis climática, la pérdida de biodiverisidad y las demás afectaciones del actual modelo civilizatorio. El comité organizador aceptó mi presentación y ahora más que nunca deseo poder cumplir con esta gran meta. Es para mí, además de un gran honor, una oportunidad invaluable, ya que soy actualmente el único venezolano que ha podido llegar a dar una ponencia en un evento de tal magnitud.

Poder cubrir todos los gastos de viaje con mi sueldo es algo sumamente costoso, por eso deseo con muchas ansias que esta campaña pueda ayudarme a lograr este objetivo. Poder representar a mi país en un evento de tal magnitud me llena de júbilo y orgullo, por eso deseo con toda mi energía y mi corazón poder lograrlo a tiempo. Gracias por su atención y por compartir mi pasión con el mundo.

Hello everyone, my name is Samuel Alejandro Urbina Blanco.

As you will see, I was accepted by the Global Biodiversity Forum 2022 to give an oral presentation with a scientific poster. My paper is entitled "Afroindianity and environmental justice: towards a political ecosophy" and it deals with the role of Afro-indigenous peoples in the struggles for the defence of the Pachamama, against the climate crisis, the loss of biodiversity and the other affectations of the current civilisational model. The organising committee accepted my presentation and now more than ever I want to be able to achieve this great goal. It is not only a great honour for me, but also an invaluable opportunity, as I am currently the only Venezuelan who has been able to give a presentation at an event of such magnitude.

It is practically impossible to afford all the travel expenses, so I am very anxious that this campaign can help me to achieve this goal. To be able to represent my country in an event of such magnitude makes me proud and happy, so I wish with all my energy and my heart to be able to achieve it in time. Thank you for your attention and for sharing my passion with the world.
