My Travel Story

All my life I have been really interested in volunteering. From a very young age I was part of a social group dedicated to serving the victims of the Colombian armed conflict. Every year I go to missions in which we share with vulnerable communities in my country. I am passionate about the history of my country and how the victims have come out ahead. I want to go further, expand my barriers and be able to contribute with my actions to go towards a better world. At this point in my life I am adrift about what I want to do in the future. After studying medicine for three years, I decided that health was not my thing but people were. I'm not sure what I want, but I'm passionate about serving people, I'm discovering myself and this would be a great opportunity to achieve it. I want to make a significant change with my life, so that my passage through this world is not in vain. I do not like the word help, I see it more as a sharing, where I am going to give of myself but it is more what I receive, because volunteering is leaving the heart and living each day as if it were the last opportunity to love.
