My Travel Story

Hi, My name is Odessa McNamara, I am a Year 10 student in Victoria. I have been given the opportunity to volunteer in Nepal, helping the local community and making sure that children and families have the same opportinities as we do, here in a first world country. Some of these activities may include building water tanks, toilet blocks,refurbishing schools and local houses.

This expedition is completely run by students with a profesional leader helping in the background. Through this opportunity I believe I will be working way outside my comfort zone, becoming more confident, learning money management skills, taking risks and building resilience.

This trip would be an amazing experience, giving me the opportunity to emerse myself in a third-world country and give back to people who need it the most, in a meangful way that will help their everyday needs. The reason I want to do this is because it will give me culutural insight to places tourists do not see, the real Nepal and give me a better understanding of the world.

This trip would be a life changing experience, I am hoping to raise most of the money myself, so I thank you for donating or even just reading this page. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
