This year I've decided to help embark on a new kind of adventure!!  An adventure that takes planning and team work! Without it, the dream won't work! 

As I celebrate my 45th birthday today, it's always a chance to reflect on where I've been, where I'm going and possibly who I can lead. Over the course of my 23 years of teaching and tutoring around the valley, I've gotten to know so many students, teachers and families. These students and adults aspire to see more, learn more and experience more. Which can light a fire in a teacher! I love to teach how mathematics is a langauge, much like knowing Spanish or any other langauage. If you don't use it, you can lose it. Moreover, within teaching I've come to realize, the more kids are exposed to and experience the more they can learn! Within my 2021 welcome back to Centennial High School in Peoria, AZ, I was approached by one of my students to help sponsor a club called Culture Club. This particular student had the drive to establish a club from the ground up to embrace differing cultures and traditions on our campus since 2021. I've learned so much from sponsoring these wonderful teens who are doing good things around our campus from community service, to involved collaborations with other clubs on our campus, and carefully organizing celebrations of diversity and culture on our campus for Coyote student body. As my establishing leaders enter their senior school year this 2024 it was my hope to help embark this club, this school and interested students on a educational traveling experience to Japan summer of 2025. 
Each year that I teach, I aspire to connect with students teaching them to problem solve and apply these skills to the real world within various cultures. Why not travel and show them? My education has provided me so many valuable experiences and opportunities. I've learned that EF Educational Tours can help me offer this opportunity to my community and my students. This birthday I'd like to fundraise with my students to raise funds to take as many intereated students as possible to Japan this summer, June 2025 for a 9 day experience to see and experience cultures!
