Dear compassionate friends,

I am writing to share a heartwarming story that holds immense significance for my wife, our family, and our growing future. We hope you can join us in making this dream come true.

My wife is an extraordinary woman from the beautiful Dominican Republic. At a young age, her grandmother from her dad's side took her to Saint Martin, where they formed an unbreakable bond. Her grandma ensured she received a good education and learned English, creating memories they both cherish.

When she turned 18, my wife returned to the Dominican Republic to be with her mom and siblings. While she reunited with her immediate family, leaving her grandma behind was bittersweet.

Today, my wife is a loving mom to our two wonderful kids, with another one on the way. She shares countless stories about her grandma, who was always a beacon of kindness and love. Now, her grandma, at 88 years old, lives in Trinidad and Tobago. The passing years have only strengthened their love, but the desire to reunite has never diminished.

Every day, my wife feels a mix of happiness and sadness, knowing her grandma is alive, yet worried time is running out to fulfill her dream. We can feel the weight of the years that have kept them apart, and we know we need to act soon.

That's why we are turning to you, compassionate souls, for help. We have started a fundraiser called "Fund My Travel," with the sole purpose of bringing these two cherished souls back together.

With your generous support, we can make this dream a reality and witness the joyful reunion of a granddaughter and her grandma, as well as introducing our fourth child to their loving great-grandma.
