Dear friends,

my name is Moritz, and I would like to tell you about a special girl named Mia who has touched my heart deeply. Mia Hoffmann, just seven years old, is a fun-loving child who brightens the world with her innocence and her love for her dog Max. But about a year ago, Mia began exhibiting unexplained symptoms. After months of testing, her worried parents received the devastating diagnosis: Mia suffers from an extremely rare form of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), type 2.

It is heartbreaking to see this once lively and playful girl gradually lose the ability to move independently. Mia is on the verge of being confined to a wheelchair. But she doesn't give up, and Max, the loving dog, is always by her side to support and cheer her up.

Mia has inspired us all with her extraordinary strength and smile. In her words, full of hope and joy of life, she shared with us her heart's desire: She wants to make one last unforgettable journey with her family while she can still walk.

Let's work together to make Mia's heart's desire come true! We want to give Mia and her family the opportunity to travel to New Zealand and experience all the breathtaking natural wonders and magical landscapes.
