My Travel Story

This program will be a great learning/life experience for me as I am interested in studying environmental sciences or something similar. This program gives me a broad scope on possible jobs and research topics along with exposing me to different ecosystems that I haven't experienced before. Using my gap year to discover more about the world around me will also aid me in discovering more about myself. I have only really known central Texas my whole life and now I have an opportunity to expand my horizons to new cultures. While going to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, and Costa Rica I will have a variety of opportunities to learn about the culture, volunteering, hiking, camping, and more. I would like to take photos of my surroundings and document this journey so others get to experience my gap year through my shared lens. (A facebook/instagram page will be made to share things on shortly and a link will be added)

I will begin the program on Sept.10.2021-Nov.18.2021. I will be taking donations throughout the journey to help cover as many costs as I can.
