Hello everyone,
My name is Vallerate Joseph, and thank you so much for taking a moment to read this.
 
My sister-in-law in Uganda is getting married — something our family has prayed for, cried for, and believed God for over many years. This marriage is not just a celebration… it is a testimony. A reminder of God’s faithfulness and an answered prayer that fills our entire family with joy.
 
As many of you know, family unity and cultural support are incredibly important to us. In our culture, weddings are not just about two people — they are about the joining of families, honoring our parents, standing together, and witnessing God’s blessings unfold. It would mean the world to me to be physically present to support my husband’s family during this once-in-a-lifetime moment.
 
However, the cost of traveling from Canada to Uganda is extremely high. Between flights, transportation, accommodations, and the basic travel requirements, we are facing almost $20,000 in expenses. The wedding is on January 27th, and we need to be in Uganda by January 15th, which gives us very little time to prepare.
 
This is why I’ve created this fundraiser. I am humbly asking for your support — whether through donating, sharing, or praying for us. No amount is too small, and every act of kindness brings us closer to being there to celebrate this incredible blessing with our family.
