My Travel Story

Hello! I am a student pursuing a medical career, and I have the incredible opportunity to volunteer abroad in an underserved community. For one month, I will have the chance to care for those who lack access to the healthcare that we often take for granted, and learn and grow from their culture and environment.

I chose this destination because, while living in California, I worked with an amazing and dedicated group of nurses from the Philippines. They shared stories and photos of their past lives and experiences, which sparked my curiosity about their country and culture. During my trip, I will help provide vaccinations, basic wound care, medical check-ups, and health education. I will also offer support and encouragement to the locals. This experience will help expand my medical knowledge and deepen my understanding of what it truly means to help others.

I am raising funds to help cover the cost of my flight and travel expenses. Any contribution you can make will bring me one step closer to making this meaningful experience possible. I appreciate your support!
