My Travel Story

Hey there, Thank you very much for taking your time to check out my campaign. Once again I am Charles from Nairobi, Kenya and I am trying to fund-raise for my air ticket to Brazil in January where I will be a TEFL teacher through 4YOU2 Teach which is a start up seeking to democratize English to the Brazilian people in the marginalised areas and I feel ,despite not being part of the first world or a native English speaker I can contribute a lot towards enhancing and spread of the English language to people all over the world.




I am a university lecturer by profession and teaching is my passion. I have been a TEFL teacher before in Moscow while pursuing my MA and I know how English can impart peoples’ lives positively while at the same time enabling new social bonds that last forever or many years. I chose Brazil because I have a passion for South American countries especially their languages and cultures and I do hope to appreciate these diverse cultures, understand them and make friends too as I share my own culture.




The fact that I come from Africa, a continent which has been a recipient of Aid,including ESL teachers, I wish to show my appreciation by also helping out and I can do this best by teaching English and hoping this will change one person’s life and in turn he or she will change someone else’s life.
