My Travel Story

Hello! I'm a mother of 5 who recently became a single mother of 5. After spending 20 years experiencing mental and emotional abuse from my alcoholic husband, I finally got the strength to leave. My marriage stripped me of my pride, self-esteem, self worth and nearly my life.  During the Covid epidemic Is when the effects of the abuse became unbearable. As a nurse I saw my patient's fight for their lives. Many lost that fight. That alone had me in a sunken place. The daily abuse I received on top of that almost took me out. Now me and my children are on a journey to healing. To kick off my new life I'm wanting to take a trip to New Orleans. I have never been to New Orleans or any vaction in the past 20 years. Being the only bread winner I was never able to do so. I know being able to take this trip will give me a since sense of joy that i so badly need. Thanks.
