My Travel Story

As of some of you know, I got a fantastic opportunity to go to Barcelona, Spain for two months and half this summer shadowing several registered dietitians at a hospital there this summer. I will be receiving six credits while doing the internship at the same time. I am grateful to have this experience and will be bringing this back to the United States. I want to be one of the first deaf registered dietitians in the United States, and this experience will help me to boost my resume.

    Internship Placement
    Around this time last year, I decided that I will find a way to intern/study abroad this summer. And, it is now less than 3 days before I land in Barcelona, Spain!

    I am excited to announce that I've accepted an internship with SanaVida! It is a premium meal delivery service that offers fresh quality food that is customized to the customers' needs. The meals are designed by their nutritionists and prepared by their expert chef. I will focus on designing the meals and creating different diets for everyday customers. I also will develop ways to make the diets healthier and more attractive to the customers. Including with this opportunity, I also will be taking intensive Spanish and Catalan language courses.

    I hope to start my vlogs as soon as I arrive at my apartment this weekend! Wish me luck!
