My name is Patrick, and I am seeking your generous support to help me fulfill my mother's last wish before it's too late. A few months ago, my world shattered when I received the devastating news that my mother has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and her last wish is to meet her only grandchild, my son, before she bids her final farewell.
As much as I want to grant my mother's final wish and make this dream a reality, I am facing significant financial hurdles. The courts have mandated that I pay 14 months of child support in advance before I can travel to Haiti with my son to meet my ailing mother. While I am committed to fulfilling my responsibilities as a parent, this unexpected financial burden has left me feeling helpless and torn between my obligations and my mother's heartfelt desire.
