My Travel Story

My entire life, I have been captivated by the biodiversity and culture of African nations. My dream has always been to explore the entire continent and learn from it and its residents. In March 2018, I traveled to Africa for the first time and visited Ghana. I was amazed by the kindness, beauty, and culture throughout my visit and vowed to return as soon as I could. 
I finished by bachelor's degree just prior to the covid-19 pandemic and then returned to working with exotic animals including tigers, bears, zebras, lions, and lemurs. I also returned to school to earn my master's degree in wildlife management and conservation and completed this in May 2023. Now that I have more experience with native African species and more conservation-based education, I want to return to Africa to apply my passion to aid in conservation efforts.
