My Travel Story

Hello! Just two years ago I got out of an abuse relationship, which resulted in exhausted court dates, him stalking me, and much more. I have worked tirelessly on myself in therapy to learn my self worth, as well as recovering from this abuse. 

I have grown so much the past 2 years and am incredibly proud of myself. I can easily get caught with his voice in my head that I am a failure, especially with feeling behind on life as I see others in non toxic relationships while I still work to heal.

I have worked full time my whole life and for most of it made minimum wage, hurt more by the court fees and moving so that he wouldn't know where I live. This doesn't include medical bills and therapy. 

I am hoping to finally get a vacation and adventure, and to finally see the world! I have never been outside the U.S.A and my therapist agrees this would be a huge step in my independence and self worth. The problem is money. 

Please don't feel obligated to, and even one dollar can help me toward buying food on a trip!

I hope to one day blog my journey from someone who quietly took abuse and was spat on to pushing myself to grow. I hope you follow me on my journey.
