After eight long years separated by distance and circumstances, I have finally made the decision to embark on a long-awaited and meaningful journey: to go to Spain to reunite with my mother. This trip represents much more than simply changing geographic location; it is an emotional reunion that has been on my mind and in my heart all this time.

The destination is Spain, the country where my mother still resides. Since we said goodbye eight years ago, each day has been marked by the absence of her physical presence, by the longing for her smile, and by the yearning for her comforting hugs. Throughout these years, we have kept in touch through phone calls, text messages, and video calls, but nothing can compare to the experience of being together in person.

Anticipation and emotion intertwine as I organize the details of this trip. I imagine the moment when we finally embrace, when our tears will mix with smiles of happiness and relief.
