Studying abroad in Spain through the Barcelona SAE SIS program will have a lasting impact on my education and career by giving me a global perspective on finance through an International Finance course focused on European markets. It has always been a dream of mine, and this year, I am finally making it a reality!

This experience is more than academic, it's personal. Coming from Taos, New Mexico, with Spanish and Native American roots, I’ve always felt connected to Spain’s culture and history. I’ve celebrated unity and peace between these cultures at Las Fiestas de Taos. Studying in Spain feels like coming full circle.

By sharing what I learn abroad both academically and culturally I hope to inspire others in my community to explore opportunities beyond our small state and embrace their heritage. This journey will allow me to grow, give back, and bridge my cultural history with my professional future.
