I recently received the life-changing news of my acceptance into George Washington University – a dream that has fueled my aspirations and fueled my journey from a small town in Morocco. The joy of this achievement, however, is clouded by the financial barrier that stands between me and this opportunity.
Growing up in a modest background, the prospect of attending a prestigious university in the United States seemed like an impossible dream. Now, with the acceptance letter in hand, the reality of the situation is that I cannot afford the tuition and associated expenses.
