My Travel Story

Hi! I’m Malika, a designer taking a gap year to work on social projects in my country. Next year, I’ll start my studies in Europe, but first, I dream of traveling, exploring, and experiencing student life abroad.

I plan to visit Berlin, Germany, and Amsterdam to meet friends studying at universities there, discover new cities, and immerse myself in the culture and architecture that inspire me as a designer.

Here’s my planned route:

Berlin (Days 1–2):

Meet friends and explore student life
See iconic landmarks: Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Berlin Wall (East Side Gallery)
Visit Museum Island, Kreuzberg & Prenzlauer-Berg neighborhoods for creative inspiration

Leipzig (Day 3):

Explore historic and modern architecture
Visit the Spinnerei gallery and Leipzig University
Experience student life in cafés and cultural spaces

Hamburg (Day 4):

Discover the port city, Hafencity, and Elbphilharmonie
Walk through Speicherstadt and student-friendly neighborhoods Sternschanze & St. Pauli

Amsterdam (Days 5-6):

Explore the canals, Van Gogh Museum, and Jordaan district
Visit the University of Amsterdam and student spaces
Capture the charm of European streets and architecture

Berlin (Day 7):

Return for a final walk through the city and meet friends before heading home
