My Travel Story

Hi everyone!
I've recently been given the opportunity by my Italian professor to go on a 6 week study abroad trip to Rome! I've always wanted to learn Italian, since half of my family is fluent. If I'm able to go to Rome, I will be able to indulge in the culture and hone my Italian skills, all while getting UF credit towards my degree! I've always wanted to study abroad, and getting the opportunity to get in touch with my heritage is so amazing to me. I'm not sure if I'll get the opportunity to do something this amazing again, or at least this personal to me and my history. 
Financial aid is able to cover less than half of the program cost for this trip, so I need some help with funding. I plan on working back home for about 2 months before the trip to raise funds, and I have already began filling out scholarship applications, but I still need additional help. 
I have about $2800 of the cost covered. A long ways to go!

    Trip is Official!
    The trip is *officially* up and rolling, and I'm ready to kick my fundraising into high gear! If anyone has any additional suggestions for fundraising, let me know! But for now, I will greatly appreciate even the smallest of donations
