Help a low income student study French Sign Language!
My Travel Story
As a Health Policy major with a minor in American Sign Language, I have always focused on fostering a community filled with values of equity, inclusion and accesibility. I want to build my language skills and better understand how communication varies across culture and language. As an ASL minor, the opportunity to go abroad and learn a new signed language will better help me understand the different ways we communicate. Maybe, I'll even see many similarities, bridging that gap between ASL and FSL. Growing up as a low income student felt as though I missed many oppurtunities, seeing as I am finishing this fall, I would love to cherish this oppurtunity without worrying about the financial aspect.
thank you so much :)
