My Travel Story

With Mom's 60th Birthday just 3 weeks away, a lot of people have asked me "What should I get her?" I haven't had much of an answer to that, as to be quite honest she has everything she needs. 

If you know my mom (Darlene) you know how selfless she is. While a card with money in it may be great for some, I want to make sure my mom gets to enjoy her gifts to herself. So I've come up with this idea.

For as long as I can remember everytime I've asked her about where she wants to go her response is "I want to go to England before I die" (It's Darlene she talks like that lol). 

Her dream vacation is to go to London and walk down Abby Road, just as The Beatles did when she was younger BUT the kick to that dream of my mother's, is that she will selflessly never take herself on that trip. So I am suggesting a donation towards sending Darlene to London, England. I've done my research and found a travel agent with a trip to London and Paris for $1200. If we raise $2000 (If every person coming donated $20) that will cover her round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, passport fee and $500 spending money. 

All monies raised will be gifted to Darlene in a check the night of the party. 
This page will remain up so she can see after the party.
