This spring my college will take 15 students to Costa Rica for an ecotourism/study abroad research project for one week, and hopefully with some financial help I can be one of them. As a conservation biology student I have always had a great love for all wildlife and now I finally have the chance to see one of the most biodiverse places in the world. Not only does Costa Rica have stunning views of volcanos, shorelines and rainforests but it is also home to some of my favorite animals. This trip will not only be for sight seeing; I will conduct research, identify different types of flora and fauna and be tested. I will have the priveledge of experiencing such a unique place and it will finally give me the chance to see what I would be fighting for as a conservation biologist. Thank you so much for helping me live my dream! -Adrianna.
