SUPPORT MARIA'S NONPROFIT ABROAD INTERNSHIP
My Travel Story
I am the founder of PEWA CARE HUMANITARIAN, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of women and children in rural Namibia. As we begin our journey, I am seeking support to further my education in nonprofit management, leadership, fundraising, and NGO operations through a 3-month internship. The funds raised will cover the cost of this internship, including placement, accommodation, food, and transportation, with any remaining funds directed towards our future projects.
This opportunity will help me gain critical skills to better serve our community, ensuring that PEWA CARE can expand and make a meaningful difference. From next year, I plan to dedicate myself full-time to projects focused on reproductive health, period poverty, mental health support for schoolchildren, English education, and career guidance in schools, all with a special focus on rural areas where many children are neglected and lack basic necessities like electricity.
With your help, I can acquire the experience necessary to lead and grow these initiatives. Your support will not only invest in my professional development but also directly impact the lives of countless children, women, and families in Namibia. Additionally, I plan to create job opportunities for unemployed mothers by training them to make reusable pads, tackling period poverty while empowering women economically.
