My Travel Story

In November 2021, I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic for 9-days with my high school Spanish class.  It isn't just a leisure trip though.  I will be learning about the history to the area.  I will also be spending time studying the Dominican culture through Spanish Language immersion classes on multiple days.   The learning will also continue through tourning an organic eco-farm.  I will be working on service projects at local schools and volunteering at a local orphanage.  On top of serving the local communities, there are some fun activities planned, from viewing a baseball game to snorkeling to taking a zip-line tour.  There will be a lot of exciting opportunities to learn, serve and just have fun!  Thank you for considering donating to my upcoming class trip.
