Preserving Paradise in the British Virgin Islands
My Travel Story
My name is Isaac, I am a 16-year-old high school student from New Zealand.
I am hoping to fundraise up to $8,000 (NZD) but really any net amount would be more than helpful to help me get to the British Virgin Islands so that I, along with many others, can tag sea turtles and track their populations and migration patterns so that we can find out dangers to the population and devise conservation plans to ensure they can remain in their natural habitat safely.
I would also be participating in cleaning and restoring the marine ecosystem, as well as providing hurricane relief to locals.
All donations I receive would go towards the program fee, flights, accommodation, equipment, and food. Your donation would be beneficial because this trip will be advantageous to me as it will be giving me insight into how these reptiles live and survive and provide me with further motivation to pursue my career goal of becoming a Wildlife Biologist.
By donating, not only would you be greatly helping me but you'd also be helping the sea turtle population, the marine ecosystem, and locals of the British Virgin Islands. I would deeply appreciate a donation of any amount that helps me work towards my goal of working in an area of passion, helping these reptiles, the environment, and getting to the British Virgin Islands.
