My Travel Story

Since I was about 5 or 6 years it has been on my bucket list to volunteer and or visit the beautiful continent of Africa.

Now in my 20s I have the opportunity to not only volunteer or visit in general terms but to volunteer with my diploma of nursing. I have chosen the medical programme to take my passion for nursing and serve my time and skills in a country that I would love to experience firsthand.

I am passionate about this programme because of the support provided by IVHQ but also the local communities and the beautiful nature that surrounds the country of Tanzania.

This would not only make the little 5/6 year old in me super happy but also make me feel like I can provide and accomplish something that myself and others can take for granted so often. This will be a massive step out of my comfort zone but definitely one to remember and worth every moment.
