My Travel Story

I am a huge animal lover and advocate. I created and founded NOBLPets.com which is a pet registry program in which residents of Grand Rapids can register their pets to location via google maps, post a pic, and share any sensitive information like ailments, temperament, microchips, or if they like treats. This is a great tool to aid in a situation in which your pets were to ever become missing or more importantly found. I have a dear friend who has a property in Puerto Rico. She then told me that there are animals along the beach that need assistance. Dogs, cats, and horses are often abandoned on the beaches and left to fend for themselves. A great number of these animals were left behind due to evacuation from tropical storms and hurricanes. I can't imagine how scared they must have been. I am asking for donations to help fund a trip to Puerto Rico to see what I can do to help establish an animal rescue or how I can use my skills to expand one already making efforts. If that isn't something that's tangible than to volunteer my time helping all the animals by taking pictures and making people aware of the distress these animals are going through and in what volume. I know with your help I can turn these tragic photos into happy and positive ones. Please help me on my quest to make an impact on the world by helping animals in need in Puerto Rico.

I' m working on a draft in which it proposes the ability to be licensed to spay and neuter animals without having to go to vet school for years. Of course, some education would have to be passed to get a license. This is an attempt to provide relief not only to the overpopulated animals but to help the vets responsible for spaying and neutering. They cannot keep up with the demand.

    Soaring Numbers of Strays!
The precise number of stray animals in Puerto Rico remains elusive due to the challenges of accurately counting free-roaming populations. However, various organizations and government agencies have conducted surveys and estimated that the island is home to a significant population of strays. According to a 2018 study by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, there were an estimated 300,000 stray dogs and 100,000 stray cats on the island. Other estimates have ranged from 500,000 to over a million stray animals. These animals often face challenges such as lack of access to food and water, exposure to harsh weather conditions, and vulnerability to diseases and injuries.
