I am writing this to request assistance to fulfil a life long dream and promise to my late father.

 

My father was born in Devon England in 1929. As a young man he move to Australia met my mother and never returned to England. Before passing away he made me promise that i would find a way to go to England and meet his side of the family. Whilst some have passed many are still alive and i have been lucky enough to connect with them through Ancestry website. His passing has made me realize how important it is to connect with my roots, share stories, and honor his memory alongside the family members who knew and loved him as I did.

 

Whilst I now have the time to travel the cost of living difficulties that make it impossible for me to afford the cost of traveling from Australia to England. This journey would mean so much to me, as it would allow me to form bonds with my father's family, whom I’ve never met, and help me gain closure and a deeper understanding of my heritage.
