My Travel Story

Hello! My name is Vejune and I am from Lithuania. I grew up in a rural area surrounded by forests, so nature has always been important to me. I am not sure what I want to study yet, therefore I decided to take a gap year. During my gap year, I would love to do things I enjoy, and volunteering gives me an opportunity to do that since I get to travel, explore a new country and help our planet's little creatures. The problem is, I live on the other side of the globe from Costa Rica, so the trip is really expensive and any help would be highly appreciated!
In Costa Rica, I would engage in hands-on activities like beach cleanups, nesting surveys, hatching releases, and simply taking care of turtles.
I believe this program will give me a clearer understanding of what I want to study in the future, marine biology perhaps? And of course, I will get a chance to make lifelong friends and create unforgettable memories.
All in all, it is a big privilege to make this trip, but it costs a lot of money. That is why I am asking for your support. Let's make a difference together! I really appreciate you for taking the time to read my profile. Thank you!
