The Wolmer’s Boys’ School Key Club is seeking the financial assistance of your organization to send ten (10) representatives with a chaperone to the annual Key Club International Convention. In July 2023, we were able to send three (3) representatives. The international event is slated for July 10 to July 17 and it will be held in Atlanta, Georgia. This International Convention will see Key Clubs from across the globe participating in leadership development workshops, engaging in service projects as well as meeting to discuss matters pertaining to the organization. At this convention, we will engage and be motivated by inspirational speakers such as Sal Khan (Founder of Khan Academy) and many other world class game-changers. We will also get the opportunity to interact with other Key Clubbers and nation-builders from the Caribbean and the world. We feel it is important for our club members to be allowed to network internationally while representing our esteemed institution. 

Among the 10 representatives, there will be 4 Wolmerian representing the school as voting delegates to vote on amendments to Key Club International bylaws as well to elect new Key Club International Board members. The club’s achievements at the Jamaica District level have made it increasingly important that the school is able to have representation at this event.
After working out an approximate cost, we are asking for twenty-five thousand US dollars (USD 25,000) as with this, we would certainly be able to financially support ourselves with the relevant expenses, airfare and transportation fees, housing fees, and registration fees.
