My Travel Story

P.S. I actually stay in Namibia, but unfortunately the option wasn't there.

Good day. I hope you're well.

I have been struggling to raise funds for me to visit my significant other for nearly 2 years now; we have been far apart. She's my everything and the love of my life.

My S/o stays nearly 1500 miles from where I stay, and taking the bus would be the cheapest. We know that after her graduation (as I'll finish first), we plan on getting married, and as of right now, travelling to her after 2 years without seeing each other would be a dream of ours, but unfortunately, on both ends, we aren't able to do it.

We truly do want to see each other and spend a month together but it will require funding for me to go there. And since we would like to spend 2 weeks together as I have to return for my final semester, it will require quite a lot. I really don't like placing an amount, but I need 15000 NAD (or around 800 USD) for transport to go and come back, accommodation, food, a safety net in case of an emergency, clothes, groceries for her place, and general stuff.  We are also going for a professional couple photoshoot for us to keep as memories.

Also, I have never been there before in my life, so it will be great as I will be travelling alone for the first time ever. We also plan to stay 2 days at Livingstone, a beautiful place none of us have ever been to. It's an amazing place.

I come from country where getting a job is nearly impossible and it has been hard trying to find work. I stay in Namibia, in the southern part of Africa. Unfortunately, at this current time, PayPal doesn't work in my country (to receive specifically) and a direct bank transfer or a western union (which would be better) is doable.

I truly thank those who will take time and generously assist me, I truly thank God for this opportunity. Thank you, community
