My Travel Story
Hope this message finds you well. I’m from Sri Lanka, a very small, poor, Asian, 3rd world, developing country. I’m a college student who is paying 10000$ (3,000,000 lkr) as a student to do my higher education because there is no future in this country if you don’t have a degree but it's very hard to find a good reputable campus. Because of the inflation, it's even harder. There are 4 members in our family, my lovely parents, and my younger brother. One very kind gentleman helped me and my family with my education but unfortunately, he passed away in an accident. One day a robber tries to steal his gold chain, but he tries to fight the robber and the robber attacks him with a small knife he loses his life because of that horrible incident he lost his life. This great man was a father to me. He has a daughter, and he is treated the same to me as well. Now I’m helpless.
I had to stop my education and currently I’m working at a small restaurant as a cashier but its also not enough to survive and think about a future. Not only me there are lot of student s who are looking for help. So, I’m writing this for the world of kind heart people seeking help to build a hope of a nice future not only for me, but also for all who struggle to study without money.
