Hello everyone! 

My name is Mar and today I'm asking for help to share my beautiful culture and family with my fiance for the first time. 

Let me start at the beginning, my fiance, Filip and I met 5 years ago online and built a long distance connection. Eventually after two years after working and saving up all of my money, I travelled to Serbia to meet him and from there we immediately knew it was real and this was the person we wanted to spend our lives with. Over the last two years of me living here, I have spent all of my money returning home to Canada whenever I can for a short time simply to see my family, work and  help provide for my life here in Serbia. Over this time I've lost two of my grandparents who I was extremely close with, and unfortunately due to their sudden death and the large expense of plane tickets I was not able to be with them or attend their funeral. We spent the majority of last year applying for his visitors visa in Canada and it was an extremely expensive, stressful time for us. All thanks to God he did receive his visa! And now we are planning our trip to visit my home and my family for the first time. I am asking for help regarding our tickets and just humbly providing for ourselves during our 5 week stay in the country. Life in Canada is much different than it is in Serbia, and unfortunately much more expensive than either of us are able to afford. I want to give him the best experience of Canada, and I want my remaining grandparents to be able to meet him after all of the hard work, sacrifice and effort we've put into our relationship to make it this far together. 

Absolutely anything is appreciated and not taken lightly, we understand how privileged our situation is. If you are feeling generous or a inspired by our story we are so thankful.
