After leaving an incredibly abusive relationship this year I decided I needed to make some serious life changes and get some serious distance away from my life as I knew it. So I applied for a working holiday in Canada and didn't hear anything back at first. Months later I get a phone call while at work (directly after I was called 'stupid idiot' by a client) offering me a position to leaving in September to work in the ski field in Canada!!
