Hello everyone, my name is Ethan, I am a transgender man and I live in Venezuela. I am 35 years old and I live at my parents' house. I cannot say anything about my gender orientation, nor about my political preferences, I have found it very difficult to even raise 200 dollars to pay for my passport and be able to leave the country. But as soon as I wanted to do so I was prevented by the illness of my parents.They are both almost eighty years old and although they do not support me, nor do they want me to leave the country, because they blindly believe in the president, my heart continues to respect and love them. Now that they are healthy again, I want to leave. I need to do this for my own safety and mental health. I thought the last elections would change things but in fact they got worse as the current president does not want to accept that he lost. They are looking for those who voted against them and making them disappear. They are kidnapped from their homes and taken to unknown places. As a trans man, I have to remain invisible for my own safety and, as an opponent of this dictatorial regime, too. I want to go to Spain where I can be safer, it is a country with rights that I will never have here in Venezuela. Please, if anyone sees this message, help me, you would save my life.
